We had such a great stay at WoodyBanks whilst cycling on SDW. Jackie & Graham are perfect hosts, who made my two boys and I feel at home. After a long day cycling the peace and amazing views from the house and beautiful garden were calming and restorative, the pub next door was convenient for a hearty meal, and the beds were comfortable for a good nights sleep. Jackie then made a superb feast for breakfast to set us up well for another day! We were particularly blessed to stay here as Graham and Jackie helped us out at very short notice after our other accommodation planned elsewhere on SDW fell through, basically saving our trip! Enormous thanks to you both, we are very grateful and will carry memories of your kindness and hospitality with us.

Not been for years. When I did, had a great welcome, food was excellent and at a reasonable price. Cottage very clean, no faults at all. Been twice, would certainly book again if and when down that way.

What a lovely experience staying here with Jackie and Graham. Beautifully clean, lovely peopepeope, can't wait to go back. Nothing too much trouble for them, excellent shower! Loved every minute of it.

I came over from Belgium and I stayed at Woody Banks for a few night together with my wife and 2 other adults and thouht it was perfect. I can recommend Woody Banks to anybody who is looking for a quiet stay. The breakfast was superb, rooms large enough and very nicely furnished. The view also was staggering, we could even see some deer in the distance. I hope to go back to visit J and G again. Andy Perett
